It has been cold and rather foggy this week in central Oklahoma. Windy, too. We even had freezing fog. It has been another busy week for me as well. I had some issues with the computer I bought where the screen was going black randomly. I had to exchange it for a new one. The new one is working well but one of my programs for work is crashing often. I am planning to research possible alternative programs but I am disappointed since I paid for a subscription to the current program that is crashing. We are making some progress this week with the mice and have caught four more of them. We cleaned up our apartment well this week. Now, we are going to block the mouse holes this week and put out more traps. Recently, I was eating a mandarin and I found a seed. I had never found a mandarin seed before so I decided to plant it. What do you know? It sprouted. So cool. It doesn’t grow well outside here but I hope we can figure something out. I think I can bring it inside during the winter as long as it isn’t too big. It’s one of my favorite fruits so I would be happy to grow my own. I made a big pot of beans this week and rice to go with it. We still have a lot of turkey leftovers from Thanksgiving. I did do some drawings this week but wasn’t satisfied with the results of some of them. I tried to draw Zoe and Rumi from K Pop Demon Hunters but didn’t achieve a resemblance on either. I will try to draw the Demon Hunters again next week.I also attempted a master copy of Fechin’s self portrait for class today. I don’t think it looks like him but I enjoyed drawing it. I started a new book called Urban Sketching and Painting. I really enjoy the Pocket Art Guides series from Barron’s. I have been continuing to prepare gifts for my family and friends. I bought some dice 🎲 for my close friend who is into DND. I also painted a figurine for his game that is some sort of alien baby eater. I think it looks pretty creepy. I hope he will like it. I still have a few more gifts left to prepare next week. I bought some cute cat fabric for my sister and it finally arrived. It looks good but I didn’t remove it from the package. I will be going to the farm this week to check on the cat but won’t be able to stay long. We had the first big snow of the year last week. This week is forecasted to be warmer than last week. I don’t think we’ll get any more snow here this week. It looks like a bright and sunny week ahead.
